While House Parents do not replace a child’s biological parent, nor are they a foster or potential adoptive parent, they are often the first or only example of stability and security for the children in their care.

Worship Coordinator - PT (10 hours/week)

Hours are semi-flexible to align with practice times, staff collaboration, meetings, and administrative preparation. Primary responsibilities of the Worship Coordinator position are to work with the Pastor to develop Spirit-filled worship that helps fulfill our Mission Statement and grows the worship experience at MRC. Duties and Responsibilities: • Identifies and trains gifted individuals and encourages them as they become involved in worship ministry. • Attend staff meetings and worship planning sessions as required. • Oversee scheduling of volunteers for worship to support sound, projection and camera technician, and other needs. • Coordinate with Pastor to create and lead well-planned and engaging music that fits the scriptural theme for Sunday worship. This includes leading and overseeing the music/praise team (which we do not have now). • Prepare PowerPoint slides and/or bulletins for Sunday worship service each week. • Arrange for decoration of the worship center for seasonal themes and special emphasis. • Lead practice(s) during the week and on Sunday morning before the service as appropriate. • Organize printed and digital resources so volunteers have what they need to serve. Family Services Manager - FT
