Resilience

Resilience provides emergency shelter and other supportive services for people that are experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking. The agency’s service area is Ottawa and Allegan counties, but the agency often helps survivors that are relocating in/out of the area for safety reasons.

1. Emergency Shelter: Staffed around the clock, Ginny’s Place provides safe and confidentially located emergency shelter for women, men, and children that are fleeing unsafe homes. If you are in need of shelter, please call our 24-Hour Help Line: 1-800-848-5991

2. The Supportive Housing: Supportive Housing program offers individual advocacy and assistance with cost of living expenses for families facing homelessness due to domestic violence. This home-based program empowers survivors who are already involved in Resilience programming to rebuild their life by helping find safe, affordable housing while providing support and education.

Jubilee Ministries

Jubilee strengthens neighborhoods in the greater Holland area through the development of attainable housing options, the stewardship of vital community assets, and collaboration with key community partners. Current projects target buyers that make between 80% and 120% of the area median income. Homes are sold at a price that allows the buyer to have a max housing cost of 30% of their income. The buyer would also need to qualify for a mortgage.
