Dallas Johnson
I’m energized to get to work alongside the MWM team as I continue to learn what it means to “seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly” in this big, complicated world (Micah 6:8). My prayer is that we’ll both be a blessing to others and be blessed by the Spirit’s work in our local communities.
All about Dallas
As our MSW Intern, Dallas serves through connecting churches to local
needs raised by nonprofit partners. He believes that the capital “C” Church is poised to meet
social needs in the local community through service, faithfulness, and informed care.
Dallas has been interested in the intersection of Church and social service since double
majoring in social work and ministry at Dordt University (Sioux Center, IA). He is currently
earning his Master of Social Work from Baylor University and his Master of Divinity from
Western Theological Seminary.
Dallas' work at MWM will offer him robust experience in the intersecting worlds of churches and nonprofit organizations, helping him explore what it means to serve “the least of these” in a community-focused setting (Matthew 25:40).
