Audio, Visual, and Lighting Technician (P/T - 7 hours/week)

Activities Coordinator
The Activities Coordinator (AC) for Brothers & Sisters Homes (BSH) will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of the daytime activity opportunities for the men and women of BSH. All activities should be guided by the Vision of BSH which states: [We] aim to cultivate a distinctly supportive Christian environment where residents can thrive and grow as individuals while establishing meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with housemates, neighbors, and the broader community.
Live In Home Supervisor
The Home Supervisor provides live-in, full-time care for six individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a Christian home environment that encourages optimal personal growth and independence.
The Supervisor oversees all aspects of the home including daily activities, meals, personal hygiene, medications, transportation, resident participation in household chores, and the scheduling of Relief Staff.
Resident Support/Relief Staff
Under the general direction and supervision of the Home Supervisor, Resident Support Staff will provide support services for up to six adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Christian home environment. Resident Support Staff will demonstrate respect for and to all residents while providing support for and/or facilitating daily activities, meals, personal hygiene, medication dispensing, education, or job-related activities.

The Ministry Internship is designed to provide individuals with early exposure to ministry life through guided learning, hands-on experiences, and intentional mentoring. This role is exploratory in nature—ideal for those discerning a call to ministry, seeking to develop spiritual gifts, and learning how local church ministry functions day to day. Interns will serve alongside ministry leaders in a variety of areas while gaining a broad perspective of church life, spiritual leadership, and pastoral care.
Central/Water's Edge Resident
This residency is built to help individuals clarify their calling, grow in character and competence, and prepare for long-term vocational ministry—whether at Central Church, within the Water’s Edge Network, or beyond. Residency length ranges from 1 to 3 years, depending on calling, ministry track, development pace, and mutual discernment between the resident and leadership.

Students Pastor
Engedi Students exists to advance the kingdom revolution of Jesus worldwide. The Engedi Student Pastor will provide direction and oversight of Engedi’s student ministry, students in grades 6th-12th, including the leadership and pastoral care of its volunteer leaders, students, and parents.

Providers leadership and oversight to day-to-day operation of the food pantry to strategically procure and distribute food for the ministry.
Mentors/Guides
Mentors are the lifeblood of the ministry. They are the “on the ground troops” discipling the students. As such, they must be people of absolute integrity committed to the cause of seeing the lost come to Christ and leading students to become honorable citizens in society.
Our Mentors are required to spend 2-4 hours, each week with their students; discipling no more than 6 students maximum. Some Mentors may choose to mentor 1 student and others have time to mentor multiple students. It is estimated that a Mentor will spend an additional hour each week, per student, in travel and reporting. Included in this reporting time will be a weekly meeting with a MentorMe of West Michigan Guide to receive encouragement, support, and prayer.
Life Skills Coordinator
Our Life Skills Coordinator position is full-time, up to and not to exceed 40 hours per week, providing various life skills support and makes connections to support services in our community, for assigned MHM residents.
Healthcare Professional (RN/ Nurse Sonographer)
The Healthcare Professional is responsible to provide excellent client care and medical services. In addition, assist with volunteer management, promote client activity, display a positive presence in the community, and foster community relationships.

The Client Services Coordinator supports daily center operations by managing client communication, scheduling, and key administrative tasks—all while creating a welcoming, Christ-centered environment for every individual who walks through our doors.
Family Advocate - PT/FT
The Family Advocate position is unique in the description since one will be working with the teen in a one-on-one setting at the school and also working with the family as a whole. The family advocate is a paid position. Hours are flexible, individual must be self-motivated and organized.
Custodian
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the church property. This is to be done on a consistent schedule for daily, monthly, and annual tasks. The Custodian is responsible for setting up and taking down furniture according to building use throughout the week.
Worship Director - PT (15 hours/week)
The Worship Director is responsible–under the direction of and in conjunction with the Lead Pastor–for the planning and leading of the corporate worship gatherings of Vriesland Church with a particular focus on the liturgical and musical aspects of worship.
