Love Our Schools is a community-wide effort to show that the Church cares—deeply and consistently—for the educators, staff, and administrators serving our children every day.
What began as a simple act of generosity—providing gift kits for every local school worker—has grown into an ongoing movement of listening, presence, and partnership.
How It Works
Annual Gift Kit Initiative
Each year, churches across Holland and Zeeland come together to bless school staff through thoughtful gift kits. It’s a simple yet powerful way to remind educators that they are seen, valued, and loved.
Love Our Schools 2.0
Investing Deeper
This Spring of 2026, Movement West Michigan is launching Love Our Schools 2.0—a pilot project designed to help congregations move beyond gift kits to build deeper, ongoing relationships with local schools.
Through this initiative, your church can choose 1–2 creative ways to invest in teachers and staff, sharing the love of Christ in tangible, community-rooted ways.
