Love Our Schools 2026
Love Our Schools is a community-wide effort to show that the Church cares—deeply and consistently—for the educators, staff, and administrators serving our children every day.
What began as a simple act of generosity—providing gift kits for every local school worker—has grown into an ongoing movement of listening, presence, and partnership.
It is simply a practical way for churches across Holland/Zeeland to come alongside local schools and remind teachers: you are seen, loved, and supported. Together, we’ll strengthen existing partnerships, build new relationships, and show unity in action.
How It Works
1. Churches sign up to support a specific school.
Movement West Michigan will prioritize pre-existing partnerships (like Kids Hope USA and Hand2Hand) whenever possible.
2. Each church receives a basic gift kit (items donated by local businesses)
Churches are encouraged to add meaningful touches—like handwritten notes, restocking the teachers’ lounge, or even buying lunch for staff.
3. Pick up your kit (preferred) and deliver it to your school during the recommended week.

Sign up and we’ll connect you with a local school and provide next steps for pick up + delivery.
Step 2: Volunteer for Box Assembly Day.
Help us assemble kits so churches can easily pick up and deliver.
